SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The deadline for submitting the request is June 29, 2013 – the request may be submitted by mail or in person at the archive of the Ministry of Health.
THE APPLICANT IS THE DIRECTOR
The request is submitted by the director of the healthcare institution, who must sign the request (with full name and abbreviated signature) and affix the institution’s stamp (the so-called round seal).
DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN COPY
All of the above-mentioned supporting documentation must be submitted in copy, with the notation “true to the original,” confirmed with the signature of the director and the institution’s stamp (on each individual document). Documents prepared by the institution itself (layout of the premises and equipment list) must be signed by the director and stamped by the institution (on each individual document), while the elaboration must be signed by the founder.
ALL ORGANIZATIONAL UNITS OF THE INSTITUTION MUST BE SPECIFIED IN THE REQUEST
If the healthcare institution includes multiple organizational units, the request form must be completed by specifying the respective teams by organizational unit and indicating whether each team performs its activity within or outside the network, individually.
COMPLETION AND ADJUSTMENT OF DOCUMENTATION
Incomplete requests will not be rejected, and applicants will be appropriately informed about the possible need to adjust the submitted documentation or to submit additional evidence that may arise during the procedure for renewing the work permit, depending on the type of healthcare institution, the activity it performs, and generally on the need to establish all facts and circumstances for making a decision on the renewal of the work permit in accordance with the new legal framework established by the new Law on Health Protection. OPERATION UNTIL PERMIT RENEWAL
Until the renewal of the work permit, existing healthcare institutions shall continue to carry out the healthcare activity for which they hold a valid permit in accordance with the old Law on Health Protection. (Existing healthcare institutions that have concluded a contract with the Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia constitute the network of healthcare institutions and shall continue, within that network, to perform the healthcare activity for which they have a permit issued under the old Law on Health Protection.)
PURPOSE OF THE RENEWAL
The purpose of renewing the work permits is to harmonize the operation of healthcare institutions that obtained work permits under different legal regimes from 1992 to 2013, in accordance with the new Law on Health Protection.
